The Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care

Supported by a $20 million gift from Joe C. Wen and his family — the largest gift to UCI Health by a donor under age 50 and among the largest-ever gifts to UCI — the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care will bring specialty clinical expertise closer to coastal and south Orange County residents on the UCI campus.

The five-story, 168,000-square-foot outpatient facility on Jamboree Road is part of the new UCI Health — Irvine medical complex, which includes the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center & Ambulatory Care as well as the new Acute Care Hospital.

Services offered at the Center for Advanced Care

Adults and children will also benefit from one-stop outpatient healthcare. In one, convenient location, the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care will offer:

  • Ear, Nose & Throat
  • Endocrinology
  • Family medicine
  • Gynecology
  • Imaging
  • Internal medicine
  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopaedics

  • Sports medicine
  • Urgent care*
  • Urology
  • Vascular surgery

Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders

The building also will be the new home of the Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders, which will provide hope and help to individuals living with:

  • Autism spectrum disorders,
  • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
  • Other neurodevelopmental disorders

Center for Children’s Health

Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) will offer primary and specialty care, as well as rehabilitation services on the second floor of the Center.

Primary care services will include wellness checks, immunizations, sports physicals and more, to keep infants, children and teens healthy.

CHOC will also offer a variety of pediatric specialty clinics:

  • Endocrinology
  • Cardiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Neuro Movement
  • Otolaryngology
  • Pulmonology
  • Rheumatology
  • Surgery
  • Urology

Additionally, CHOC will provide physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy, including specialized neurodevelopmental rehabilitation.

CHOC services will be offered 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.
